Xbox Cloud Gaming, Technology is a thing that moves faster among many other things in human life. Some people even consider it to be too rapid. Nevertheless, the advantages are too good to resist. Some people even struggle to cope with the advancement of technologies for years. Thus, it is reasonable for our elders to find it tricky to use modern gadgets. Now, cloud gaming is one of the latest features to enjoy.

Project xCloud was the initial name of the cloud gaming service from Microsoft. That name refers to the service during the development stages. Believe it or not, it takes years even for Microsoft to build it to near perfection. It was in 2021 that Microsoft eventually launched it. The feature came with the official name of Xbox Cloud Gaming. It comes as a part of the famous Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Of course, it allows GPU subscribers to stream many Xbox games for free.

The idea of cloud gaming is not a new one. It is reasonable for Microsoft to spend years developing it before the launch. It underlines the focus of Microsoft in providing a top-notch gaming service for worldwide users. So far, this service is available for Android, iOS, PC, and even Xbox consoles. Another crucial requirement is a stable and reliable internet connection. Without it, it is impossible to expect a comfortable gaming experience with this particular service from Microsoft.

Previously, Google and Nvidia already delivered their take on this particular service. There are the so-called Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce Now as the names. It is not a secret that the fan base of Microsoft in the gaming industry is quite large. It is visible through the rising number of Game Pass subscribers. The addition of Xbox Cloud Gaming is like icing on a beautiful cake already. It completes the services package from Microsoft even further for video game lovers.

It eliminates the necessity to preserve storage space for the games. Users can immediately play the game as long as there is an active subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Of course, it allows them to try any game they want before downloading it. In many ways, this service is a top-notch offer from Microsoft. Yet, it may not be at its best at the moment. There are continuous developments from Microsoft. It aims for an even better cloud gaming experience than ever before.

At the moment, Microsoft is incorporating the hardware of Xbox Series X for the server of this service. Thus, users can expect the stream to be at 1080p resolution with up to 60fps. It is the minimum standard of gaming at this time. Of course, it is lower than the capability of Series X itself. Nevertheless, it is enough to ensure the lowest latency and highest quality across many supported devices. Once again, it shows the intention of Microsoft in providing the best services for gamers.

The world of the video game is not the same as before. Many things have changed over the years. The Xbox Cloud Gaming service from Microsoft is one of the revolutionary aspects many people have been waiting for for years.
